I know I said I wasn't gonna post anything else for awhile, but I have a few more things I'd like to include before jumping head first into figure drawing. This is one I started a few weeks ago when I first started my portfolio for Ringling. Its an iguana I saw getting some sun in my backyard the other day on top of a sewer drain. I still need to add the lake and grass in the back as well as a sunset.

OOPS forgot one!

Another ink study I did back in 101

2D Painting

This is a painting I did back in 2D. It is a representation of my inner self. Lion strength, Masks anger and happiness, hands are giving and the night/day sky symbolize living from day to day.

This is one of the last pieces I will be posting for awhile. I am currently working on another painting of an iguana I saw roaming in my backyard. I will post my progress soon!!!

VERY LONG STILL LIFE

Still life done in pencil.

Try Not To Be Negative

Negative space study. Chair with hula hoops. Not my favorite but I thought I might include it anyway.

Taken a Few Steps Back to 101

Here are some pieces I did back in Drawing 101. The lower pics are the oldest and the higher ones are the most recent (at least they were at the time). Laptop, Antique Radio, Basketball, and television. I guess that says everything about me. NOT REALLY!
I love this one. I don't know how I got through it. It was a still life in class and I was actually going around helping other people with their work. It was nice since I was always the one needing help. This was the last charcoal piece we did in the class.
Brown paper bags on a large piece of brown paper. My art teacher is so creative.
Day of the Dead mixed with Halloween. What more can I say
AND..........THE FIRST!! TA_DA

Everybody loves CHARKOLE!

This is Grandpa....IN MOTION! I found a picture of my grandfather dancing and decided it would be nice to see in charcoal. This is the ending result. It is one of my more recent pieces. I did this one after about a year of absolutely no charcoal work. AHH, I'm horrible. Getting back into it felt real good and I was semi satisfied with the finished product. LEMME KNOW WHAT YU THINK!

......MORE INK!

The first is a self portrait I did in my 2D class. The other two were yet again from my drawing class.

Some Ink Studies

These were some palms outside of my drawing class. It was one of my first times experimenting with ink.
