UPDATES

WHATTUP EVERYONE. I haven't posted in awhile mainly because no one really checks my blogs! lol, however I wanted to update the very old portfolio with some new updates from my figure class. These pieces range in date from the beginning of Jan to the end of Feb. The ones that seem like quick gestures were
done in 30 seconds. Some of the longer studies were done ranging from 10 to 15 minutes. I think I have improved alot yet being a true artist I STRIVE FOR PERFECTION. Let me know what you think

Another Color Study

New Sketch

Got some new markers this weekend...I haven't worked with markers since elementary school but there was this cool 100 pack for 10 bucks, can't go wrong there!  So I started off by sketching a plastic bench in my backyard...really rough nothing special.  I am still trying to get a feel for color and using other mediums since I am so used to black and white materials.  The color is a nice addition to my sketch book which is pretty plain right now.

Some sketches i did in sketch book....The first is a ceramic rose that took me a good while since I wasn't really satisfied with it. I'm still not satisfied but I thought I might post it anyways.  The second is my PS3 controller and the third is a leaf that I picked up off the floor awhile back when I was in Gainesville.
